The traditional interior design of the hotel was amazing, with the lanterns and the roof overhanging. The outdoor onsen had a great view of the river and waterfall, making it very peaceful and relaxing. The customer service was top-notch and the daily cleaning of the onsen made it crystal clear.
The room was not up to my standards. The bedroom was a bit small and stuffy which was uncomfortable during the night.

Located in the mountains, we found a great place to escape on the weekend with crisp clean air and green scenery for our walks. the large and well-appointed onsens, facing a small waterfall and a swift running stream, were definitely a highlight of our stay. the room was clean, large and comfortable, and the staff were always polite and very helpful.
Sadly, the hot spring was too hot for summer, which made our bath a tad uncomfortable. the drinks at dinner were a bit overpriced.
